Intimacy with God



So you want to be closer to the Lord God. Then may I ask you some questions?



What time do you give to Him?

Are you so busy doing His work that you have no time to be with Him?

When was the last time you shut yourself away with Him….

Without any distractions from the world?

When was the last time you really talked to Him?

When was the last time you sang a song of love to Him?

When was the last time you really praised Him with all your heart?

When was the last time you truly worshipped Him in Spirit and Truth?

Do you allow the things of this world to take first place in your heart?

Do you allow your family to take the time set aside for Him?

What are you watching on television and listening to and the radio?

Does it glorify God?

Then whom does it glorify?



There is a King who chose a bride .Oh! He was so happy! He paid the dowry fee with His life and rose again to show her she also had life in her and would forever because of His sacrifice.

Then He told her He was going to His Father but He would leave her a comforter and His love letter so she wouldn’t miss Him so much. He told her He was going to His Father to speak to Him of her and to build her a great splendorous mansion! He also told her He would never leave her or forsake her for His Spirit would be in her! He told her to watching for His return and to occupy until He returned. He told if she asked anything in His name it would be done that His Father be glorified!

Oh how He loves her! She is wonderful to Him and He started talking to His Father about her.



Father He said she is so beautiful! Oh and she is kind and loving and modest too!

Then He started building her new home... oh how excited He is! He works hard and asks His Father to approve every detail, Father do you think this will do, and do you think she will like this. Oh and is this where you think she would like this. Is it the right color? So He is steadily working to make a beautiful home for her.



Then one day He started looking for her and listening to hear her voice and He couldn’t hear her or find her.

Father do you know where she is?

Have you heard from her?

She doesn’t read my love letters any more....

She doesn’t call me anymore unless she wants something or is in trouble …

Oh how I miss her!

Has she found another?



The Lord our God is that King, His name is Jesus Christ and the love letter is the Bible His Word. He sent to the whole world to show us how much He loves us. Have you read His letter lately? 2 Tim.2:15, James 4:8, Jer.29:13

When was the last time you praised Him? Ps. 22:10
