Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Just A Thought
Today know that you too may experience betrayal by even those closest to you. Though it is piercing and painful at such times, recall David's words in Psalm 27:9-10. They read: Hide not your face far from me, put not your servant away in anger; you have been my help;leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." We must remember to lean only on Jesus. All flesh will eventually fail us, even our own. Don't rely on it. Recall Proverbs 18:24, "one who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother." It is the Lord himself.
