Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
No Call Ever Dropped
Matthew 28:20b
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
As I was riding around in a rural area of Georgia the other day I was struck by the number of people I saw who were outside their homes talking on their cell phones. They were all standing, sitting or pacing about at various distances from their homes; some only a few feet, others twenty or more, one even appeared to be hiding behind a tree while talking. All were trying to make sure there was sufficient signal strength so their calls weren’t dropped.
After a while, I had to smile as I thought to myself, “I know One who takes calls that never get dropped.” His name is Jesus and He is a promise keeper Who accepts and answers all calls. To call Him all we need to do is open our hearts and speak to Him. We don’t need a special time to call Him; we don’t need to stand or sit in a certain spot when we call Him. He’s available 24-7! Best of all, when we call Him we never have to ask, “Can you hear me now?” He hears, and He answers!
