Not About You

                      John 3:16-17

                  For God so loved the world , that he gave his only begotten son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life . For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world ; but that the world through him might be saved .

                              How soon some of us seem to forget that jesus came to save sinners ? We forget that Christ himself said that he came to save those who were sick because those who are well does not need a doctor ; we forget that because we have the spirit and the mind of Christ that God wants to use us who are saved to carry on his work in the world .

                              The relationship that we have with the world is the one that I really wanted to get to . We have to first clear a path that we might come to a full understanding first , the importance of our relationship with God and family . I believe only when we have a firm relationship with God that we will ever be able to understand how important it is that we make ourselves available to be used in this world for the sake of others.

                              Understand this . God does not love us who are saved no more than he loves those who are not . The only difference is because we are saved is that we are now his children and he favors us just like you favor your children over others . God is still very much looking for others to come to know him. He is still longing for the worst of the worst , the very ones that most of us would call outcast or even the scum of the earth to come to him .

                               I am sure that if some of us would look back on our lives with some of the things that we have done then we too at some time would have been considered scum of the earth . But yet God reached down and pulled some of us out and put our feet on solid ground , gave us a grateful heart and a life worth living and then we get the nerve to think that it is all about us ?

                               God did not nor has he stopped calling and saving when it came to Christ . The mission that God gave to the disciple's way back then is the very same mission that we should take to heart , even in the times of today , it is when we truly understand that because of our relationship with God that we will begin to do all that we can do to the best of our ability to get into and stay in position that God can use us to draw others to himself there is a sin sick world out there .

                                                                           And We Have The Only Answer !
