Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Daily Prayer Monday June 15, 2009
VERSE:
Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will
live and do this or that."- James 4:15
THOUGHT:
While I like to have choices and I like to be responsible for my
own decisions, I am truly thankful that God allows me to submit my life to his will and place my trust in him. The Father is at work in me to do his will (Phil. 2:13) and to work for my best good (Rom. 8:28).
PRAYER:
We come before you this day Christ Jesus, giving you praise and honor. Thank You Lord for another week of love, joy, comfort, and hope, in You. Help us to live in Christian unity and peace. Christ Jesus, we ask that You Bless all those who come to You seeking Your love.
Thank you, Abba Father, that our life and our future are in Your hands. Dear Father, help me to always gladly place my plans, my life, and my future in submission to your will. In Christ Jesus' Holy name, and by his power. Precious Lord, God the Father and God the Son, we thank you for sending God the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. We thank you for this divine Counselor who leads us into all truth. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon the lost and the found. Save the lost and strengthen the saved. Give Your children peace as some of them go through hard times, due to unemployment, etc. Lord You know what everyone of us stand in need of, and by Faith we ask that you have your perfect will in our lives, touch us all Lord with you powerful hand and we believe that whatever is going on in any of us Lord You have already dealt with to our good. Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord, Bless that wonderful name of Christ Jesus. Lord give us peace even as we go through a world where there is so little peace. Thank You Lord, Thank You.
And as we start out this week Lord, we gladly acknowledge that our plans are subject to Your will. We appreciative that our goals and successes are in Your hands. We gladly proclaim that what lies ahead for us can be summarized by one phrase: "If the Lord wills!
We proclaim all these things, Praying in
the Holy name of Christ Jesus
Amen.
