Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. COMMENTARY:
Here we find, the psalmist pleads his earnestness, and the mercy of God, as reasons why his Prayer should be heard. Our poverty and wretchedness, when felt, powerfully plead in our behalf at the throne of Grace. The best self-preservation is to commit ourselves to God's keeping. I am one whom thou favorers, hast set apart for Thyself, and made partaker of Sanctifying Grace. It is a great encouragement to Prayer, to feel that we have received the converting Grace of God, have learned to trust in Him, and to be His servants. We may expect comfort from God, when we keep up our communion with God. God's goodness appears in two things, in giving and forgiving. Whatever others do, let us call upon God, and commit our case to Him; we shall not seek in vain. Our God alone possesses almighty power and infinite love. Christ is the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be more desirous to be taught the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be more desirous to be taught the way and the truth of God, in order to walk therein, than to be delivered out of earthly distress. Those who set not the Lord before them, seek after believers' souls, but the compassion, mercy, and truth of God, will be their refuge and consolation. And those whose parents were the servants of the Lord, may urge this as a plea why He should hear and help them. In considering David's experience, and that of the believer, we must not lose sight of Him, who though He was rich, for our sakes became poor, that we through His poverty might be rich.
PRAYER:
O' Most Gracious Lord God, our Father in Heaven. we come humbly into Your presence, this evening in Prayer and praise. Thank You, Holy Father God, for all that You have done, and all that You are planning to do. Thank You that You have kept us until this hour of this day, and will continue to keep us. For Your have promised us that You would never leave or forsake us. Thank You Lord God, Thank You Precious Christ Jesus, our God. we love You Holy Father, we ask that You search each and every one of our hearts and minds, and if there is anything there that You find displeasing, that You remove it, for we want to do Your Holy Will and we know that You desire us to be obedient to Your Holy Word. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we confess that some of us have sinned, and we ask that You forgive us. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You that the blood that was shad on that old rugged cross, has paid in full our sin debt. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You, that You have taught us that; If we admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father God, Thank You that You have forgiven us and that there is nothing in us that is not in conformity to Your will and purpose for us. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. we will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in our mouths, we will also praise You with a harp, even Your truth, O my God; to You we will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. our lips will shout for joy when we sing praises to You; and our soul, which You have redeemed, SHOUT joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing, Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture, Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. You know each and everyone of us by name, and know what we stand in need of. Thank You Lord God, that we know that You hear our Prayers and is at this very moment doing Your Will in everyone of our lives. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus our God, Thank You. Thank You Father that You Have told us that; Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful, Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you, Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Blessed Holy Father, we Thank You that as Your men and women get ready to bring You Holy Word this Sunday, that Your Blessed Holy Spirit will be with them leading and guiding them in all that do and say, that is to Your Glory. Thank You that there will not be one Prayer, Prayed, Word spoken, note sang, that will come back void. Thank You, Our Lord Father God, Thank You. Blessed Father we Thank You that You have already placed a hedge of protection around, our children, families, homes, and all of our other concerns, and that we have no need to fear any man, for You have told us; And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day, When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, And the humble person He will save, It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man, So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME? Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, that we proclaim that we have satan under our feet, and that there is nothing that man can do to any of us, outside of Your divine Will and that we are well able to Stand, for You have told us; "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Now Unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Give heed to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are too strong for me. Bring my soul out of prison, so that I may give thanks to Your name; The righteous will surround me, For You will deal bountifully with me, Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed, This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the Lord, you His saints, For to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing, But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you, For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed, Then I shall not be ashamed when I look upon all Your commandments, Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD, The LORD is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong, For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD, When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him, His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries, Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you, Just as it is written, "BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth, Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. O' Bless That Wonderful Name Of Christ Jesus, Thank You Father. we know that You are with us and we Thank You That Your Holy Spirit has told us that; You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent, Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us, So that we confidently say, 'THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME? Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, that we proclaim that we have satan under our feet, and that there is nothing that man can do to any of us, outside of Your divine Will and that we are well able to Stand, for You have told us; "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints". Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus our Father in Heaven, we love You our God, Thank You. we proclaim that Your Holy Will shall be done, and that souls shall be saved, minds, bodies healed, in You Holy name Christ Jesus. All To Your Glory. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Thank You. we ask that the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable unto You, Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus our Father in Heaven, who is Lord of our lives.
Now Unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
