Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Monday December 21, 2009
VERSE:
Psalm 87 (King James Version)
His foundation is in the holy mountains. The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
COMMENTARY:
Christ himself is the Foundation of the Church, which God has laid. Holiness is the strength and firmness of the church. Let us not be ashamed of the church of Christ in its meanest condition, nor of those that belong to it, since such glorious things are spoken of it. Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, even Jesus Christ. The glorious things spoken of Zion by the Spirit, were all typical of Christ, and his work and offices; of the gospel church, its privileges and members; of heaven, its glory and perfect happiness. The Church of Christ is more glorious and excellent than the nations of the earth. In the records of heaven, the meanest of those who are born again stand registered. When God renders to every man according to his works, He shall observe who enjoyed the privileges of His sanctuary. To them much was given, and of them much will be required. Let those that dwell in Zion, mark this, and live up to their profession. Zion's songs shall be sung with joy and triumph. The springs of the joy of a carnal worldling are in wealth and pleasure; but of a gracious soul, in the word of God and prayer. All grace and consolation are derived from Christ, through His ordinances, to the souls of believers.
PRAYER:
Most Holy and Precious Father, our God, Lord Christ Jesus, we Your children come before You this day, Thanking You for all that has been done, by Your mighty power. Thank You Lord that we Your children, are all here in the land of the living, and that we know no fear. Thank You Lord that You kept watch over us, and allowed no harm or danger to come anywhere near us. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, that we are assured that You will never leave or forsake us. Thank You Lord. Lord God, we have known sorrow and suffering, we have sinned and often strayed, Thank You that, for Your Mercy's sake, You do not judge us according to our iniquities, but judge us according to the merits of the shading of Your blood, and Your death. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You for having given us the victory over sin and death. Thank You Lord, Christ Jesus, that You have sent the Holy Spirit to help us correct our sinful ways. And if we suffer because we speak and act as Your children, give us strength to endure it and the wisdom to rejoice in it. Thank You, our Father God, Thank You Christ Jesus. Our hearts are grateful, Savior, for the peace that You have brought to us today. Keep us secure in the knowledge of Your love and continuing forgiveness. Help us throughout this week to remember the words of Your peace. And be with us always, even to the end of the world, according to Your promise. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we will Bless The Name Of Christ Jesus, our God, at all times, His praise shall continually be in our mouths. Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in his mighty heavens. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD, Let the mountains shout for joy, and all ye valleys cry aloud; and all ye seas and dry lands tell the wonders of your Eternal King! And ye rivers, and brooks, and rills, flow down with gladness. Let the woods and all the trees of the field praise the Lord; and ye solid rocks weep for joy! And let the sun, moon, and the morning stars sing together, and let all the sons of God shout for joy! And let the eternal creations declare his name forever and ever! And again I say, how glorious is the voice we hear from heaven, proclaiming in our ears, glory, and salvation, and honor, and immortality, and eternal life; kingdoms, principalities, and powers, The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever, and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD, Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem, Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice, Rejoice evermore, Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins, And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and He will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father, blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever, we have reason to praise him forever, for he is the Most High God, and has loosed our brethren from the chains of hell, Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting darkness and destruction; but behold, he has brought them into his everlasting light, yea, into everlasting salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love; yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and marvelous work, Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel, Now have we not reason to rejoice? Yea, I say unto you, there never were men that had so great reason to rejoice as we, since the world began; yea, and my joy is carried away, even unto boasting in my God; for he has all power, all wisdom, and all understanding; he comprehendeth all things, and he is a merciful Being, even unto salvation, to those who will repent and believe on his name, Now if this is boasting, even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a branch of the tree of Israel, and has been lost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, wanderers in a strange land, Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. O' What A Wonderful God we serve. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus Thank You. Beloved Lord, watch over all who are far away from home, fighting wars, and their family and friends, all who have so little and may be jobless, all who are worried about their illnesses, and all who are tormented by anxieties and cares. we ask that You be with them, love them, and let them know that You are a concerned Father who can be trusted completely, for You have told us and we believe that; Those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You, O my God, in You I trust, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me, I hate those who regard vain idols, but I trust in the LORD, As for me, I trust in You, O LORD, I say, 'You are my God, Our heart rejoices in Him, because we trust in His holy name, Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness, Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it, He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD. How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Do not trust in oppression and do not vainly hope in robbery; if riches increase, do not set your heart upon them .A wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust. THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME? Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, that we proclaim that we have satan under our feet, and that there is nothing that man can do to any of us, outside of Your divine Will and that we are well able to Stand, for You have told us; "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. O Bless that wonderful name of Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Thank You. Most Holy Father our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, please continue to give us Your richest Blessings. Thank You Lord Father God, Thank You.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
