VERSE:
Psalm 63 (King James Version)
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholds me. But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
COMMENTARY:
Here we see David's desire toward God. Early will I seek thee. The true Christian devotes to God the morning hour. He opens the eyes of his understanding with those of his body, and awakes each morning to righteousness. He arises with a thirst after those comforts which the world cannot give, and has immediate recourse by prayer to the Fountain of the water of life. The true believer is convinced, that nothing in this sinful world can satisfy the wants and desires of his immortal soul; he expects his happiness from God, as his portion. When faith and hope are most in exercise, the world appears a weary desert, and the believer longs for the joys of heaven, of which he has some foretastes in the ordinances of God upon earth. His satisfaction in God. Even in affliction we need not want matter for praise. When this is the regular frame of a believer's mind, he values the loving-kindness of God more than life. God's loving-kindness is our Spiritual life, and that is better than temporal life. We must praise God with joyful lips; we must address ourselves to the duties as Christians with cheerfulness, and speak forth the praises of God from a principle of Holy joy. Praising lips must be joyful lips. David was in continual danger; care and fear held his eyes waking, and gave him wearisome nights; but he comforted himself with thoughts of God.For he knew that if our God be for him, then no man could stand against him. How assured David was, knowing that he was safe in the care of our Lord. Is it any wonder that we hear him saying; "Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endure to all generations.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. Beloved Lord and Savior, our God, Please receive our words and the desires of our heart with pleasure. we love You and want Your will to be done in our lives. Gracious Father, I pray that You ignite our hearts by the power of Your Holy Spirit so that we may live with passion for You, for the rest of our lives. Help us to pursue Your Holy excellence and spurn mediocrity. Renew us and renew Your Church so that we may live vibrant lives before the watching world, many of the who do not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. O Precious Father, please shower Your Grace on those we love and all of Your children, those who struggle with sin, who are broken by life's problems, beset by disease of drugs and alcohol, those caught in trying circumstances, need employment, are sick, marriages that are broken. we pledge to minister to their needs as we Thank You that You have sent the Holy Spirit unto us, so that we might comfort, heal, strengthen and mend in ways our words and deeds cannot alone can not. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Blessed Lord and Savior, Thank You that You have given us Your Word, and as it is preached, taught, and sang, that not one Word, will come back void. All to Your Glory. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Precious Lord, we fear no man, we know that You are a mighty and powerful God, who is more then able to take care of us, for You have taught us; And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day, When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, And the humble person He will save, It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man, So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word, But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ, Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. Say to those with anxious heart, 'Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you.' Then the eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah. Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne, Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you, Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we know that You have already placed Your hedge of protection around all of our concerns, Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Most Holy Lord God, our Father we Pray that the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable to You.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
Amen.
