Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Today Friday, June 26, 2009
VERSE:
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes
the wicked, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. Proverbs 3:25-26
THOUGHT:
What guards your heart from fear? Only one protector is sure and
faithful; his name is the Yahweh -- he alone is the LORD. He is our
confidence and protector. As Paul said so powerfully long ago,
prayer and the Holy Spirit are our assurance of God's deliverance.
Either we will be delivered from death to serve God powerfully or
we will be delivered through death to share with him in eternity.
We will not be snared when our fate and future remain in God's
hands!
PRAYER:
Almighty Deliverer, Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, please give us courage to live for You with passion, no matter the cost. We trust in You to deliver us. Dear God the Father and God the Son, we thank You for sending God the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. We thank You for this divine Counselor who leads us into all truth. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon the lost and the found. Save the lost and strengthen the saved. Give us peace even as we go through a world where there is so little peace. You Have taught us Lord, "He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. 'All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.' " (John 14:24-27).
Through Your word, You have told us. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
So we come before You Thanking You, that we have no fear of what man, can do to us, that we have Faith that our lives are in Your mighty hands, and that You will never leave or forsake us, we know that "The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him." Psalm 37:40, we believe that, "'No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD." Isaiah 54:17, "The LORD is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me." Psalm 118:7. Thank You Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord. All Glory To God. Thank You. "So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 2 Kings 6:16, "Do not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence And will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 3:25-26, "Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish. You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent." Isaiah 41:11-12, "So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 2 Kings 6:16, "Do not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence And will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 3:25-26, "Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish. You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent."Isaiah 41:11-12, Glory to God, and that he is our help in time of trouble, and we look to the hills with which cometh our help, our help comes from our Lord. Thank You Lord, Thank You.
