Our Prayer For Today Thursday, October 1, 2009

Psalm 32 (King James Version)

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.


COMMENTARY:


Sin is the cause of our misery; but the true believer's transgressions of the Divine law are all forgiven, being covered with the atonement. Christ Jesus bare his sins, therefore they are not imputed to him. The righteousness of Christ being reckoned to us, and we being made the righteousness of God in Him, our iniquity is not imputed, God having laid upon Him the iniquity of us all, and made Him a sin-offering for us. Not to impute sin, is God's act, for He is the Judge. It is God that justifies. Notice the character of him whose sins are pardoned; he is sincere, and seeks sanctification by the power of the Holy Ghost. He does not profess to repent, with an intention to indulge in sin, because the Lord is ready to forgive. He will not abuse the doctrine of free grace. And to the man whose iniquity is forgiven, all manner of Blessings are promised.




PRAYER:


Lord God, Our Father who art in Heaven, Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord for this another day, Thank You for the love You have shown each and everyone of us, Your children. Thank You Lord that You woke us up this morning with praise for You in our hearts and on our lips. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, that You allowed no harm or danger to come near our doors. Thank You Lord, that as we go about this day, we are determined to keep our minds on You, for we know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and that every voice that speaks out against us shall be bought to great shame. Thank You Lord, that Greater is He that is in us, then he that is in this world. Savior and Redeemer, forgive us for all the sins we have committed during the past week: the wrong thoughts, words, and actions we did and the right ones we failed to do. Christ Jesus, fill us with true sorrow, lead us to true faith, and give us strength to live our lives according to Your will. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Beloved Lord Christ Jesus You know the needs of everyone of us, Lord You sit high, but look low, and have seen, Your children who are sick, need jobs, need health care, need food, housing, education, marriages that need to be mended, those that are weary, and need to rest in Your Word, who need someone to take the time to show them Your loving kindness. Thank You Lord, that You have already supplied all of their needs. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Precious Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we desire to do Your will and to serve You in any manner we are called to. we Thank You Lord, that You provide all that is need to get the job done, to Your Glory. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Father, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Bless all that call on You as Lord and Savior, and even those that don't know yet, to do so. Thank You Lord, Christ Jesus, Thank You. we love You Lord, and abide in Your Holy Word all day long, for we know what You have taught us, and we fear no man. Thank You Lord, and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You, that You have taught us through Your Holy Word that; There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come, God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life, For I will be merciful to their iniquities and I will remember their sins no more, I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins, Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon, I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD'; and You forgave the guilt of my sin, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!, Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death, Straightening up, Jesus said to her, 'Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?' She said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said, 'I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more, They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, 'for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more, Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water, For if you return to the LORD, your brothers and your sons will find compassion before those who led them captive and will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him. O' Bless That Wonderful Name Of Christ Jesus, The only name by which any man can be saved. Thank You Lord, Thank You.


Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's bodies and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives.
