Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Today Wednesday, June 17, 2009:
VERSE:
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation,
so that you may know him better.
THOUGHT:
One of the best things we can pray for each other, and for
ourselves, is that we might better know God. The Holy Spirit helps
us better know God (1 Cor. 2), worship God (John 4), and speak to
God (Rom. 8). Let's ask God to use his Spirit to help us know him,
not just know about him. God is not only the Almighty Creator of
all things; he is also our Father who cares about us deeply.
PRAYER:
Holy Father, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Thank You for Your love and mercy that you have shown all of us Your children. God of all mystery and glory, please open our minds
and hearts to know You better through the presence of Your Holy
Spirit within us. Please Bless our physical and spiritual family
with insight and illumination about You, Your love, and Your glory.
Christ Jesus, we want to know You more fully and reflect your character and Grace more completely. Thank You Lord, for all that you are doing in the lives of Your children and all that You are going to do, Thank You Lord that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, Thank You that You will never leave or forsake us,
Thank You Lord that
"Those who love Your law have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble." Psalm 119:165
Thank You Lord, that,
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!'"
Psalm 91:1-2
Thank You Lord, that You have told us,
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
Thank You Lord, that by Faith in You, our living God, Christ Jesus we proclaim these things to be true, and all ready done!
All Glory To God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus
