Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Daily Prayer Thursday, June 18, 2009
VERSE:
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with
actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18
THOUGHT:
"Talk is cheap." "Actions speak louder than words." Let's show
our love for our family, our friends, and brothers and sisters in
Christ by the way we live and what we do for each other.
PRAYER:
O Precious Lord, our God. Thank You Loving and generous God, my Abba Father. We Thank You this day that we know how to love. For You are our God, and You have taught us to love one another, as You love us, and not just as a matter of words.
Blessed Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Please give us the opportunity today to Bless one of our brothers or sisters in Christ with a kind deed, a gentle action, or any kind of service he or she needs. We want to demonstrate our love just as our Savior did.
Dear Lord Jesus, as we live in this sinful world, guide us by Your supreme example of love. Give us the ability to bless those who curse us, to do good to those who hate us, and to pray for those who spitefully use us and persecute us. Let our actions show evidence to all that you redeemed us and that we are the children of a heavenly Father.
Thank You Lord, Christ Jesus, Thank You. All Glory To God
And Lord, we know that you are concerned about every aspect of our lives and know what we stand in need of. Lord please have Your perfect will in our lives.
For we proclaim that all we have asked for in the name of Christ Jesus is already done. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Bless that wonderful name of Jesus, All Glory To God.
