Our Prayer For Tuesday January 12, 2010
VERSE:
Psalm 93 (King James Version)
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
COMMENTARY:
Here we see,the majesty, power, and holiness of Christ's kingdom. The Lord might have displayed only His justice, Holiness, and awful power, in His dealings with fallen men; but He has been pleased to display the riches of His Mercy, and the power of His renewing Grace. In this great work, the Father has given all power to His Son, the Lord from heaven, who has made atonement for our sins. He not only can pardon, but deliver and protect all who trust in Him. His word is past, and all the saints may rely upon it. Whatever was foretold concerning the Kingdom of the Messiah, must be fulfilled in due time. All His people ought to be very strictly pure. God's Church is His house; it is a Holy house, cleansed from sin, and employed in His service. Where there is purity, there shall be peace. Let all carefully look if this Kingdom is set up in their hearts.
PRAYER:
Dear Beloved, Father in heaven, Our Lord and precious Savior Christ Jesus, we come before You in Prayer this morning, with a humble and grateful heart, for all of the wondrous things that You have done for us and through us. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, for sending the Holy Spirit unto us. Thank You that You have kept us and our families safe and that not one of us has been hurt or harm. Thank You Lord, that we, Your children know whom we serve and that You are our Lord of Lords, and The King of Kings. All Glory To God, and that Those who hate us will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no longer, that You shall cause our enemies who rise up against us to be defeated before us; they will come out against us one way and will flee before us seven ways, You told us, "For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you," Thank You, Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Holy Father, as we begin this new week, please accept our Thanks for every gift that you have given us for our body, mind, and soul, and especially for giving us saving faith and the promise of eternal life in Heaven. Thank You Lord, that we know that we are saved by Your death on the cross, and the blood that washed us from the stain of sin. O Bless that wonderful name of Jesus, the only name by which any man can be saved. Thank You Lord for we know that we have the victory over sin and death, through You. All Glory To God. Thank You Lord. Precious Lord if we have said, done, or thought anything that is not of You, we ask that You forgive us. Precious Lord, Your praise shall forever be in our mouths, and we Pray that everything that has breath praise Your Holy name. "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly, My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him, Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield, For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay, Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful, For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, It will be said in that day, 'Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation, Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Thank You Lord, Christ Jesus, that You have Blessed the whole Christian Church and all its members. Thank You that You love us and will never leave or forsake us. Lord we are asking You to look down on all of Your children this morning who are in need, those who are without jobs, homes, food, and medical care. Lord, please send someone to guide them and make them aware of what it is they need to do to get their lives together. For we know that You have told us that we can do all things through You who strengthens us. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Thank You that You care for each and everyone of us, even those that no not yet to call on You as Lord. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You Lord for Your gift of Salvation, and that we know that all our sins are forgiven because You told us; There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come, God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life, For I will be merciful to their iniquities and I will remember their sins no more, I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins, Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon, I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD'; and You forgave the guilt of my sin, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!, Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death, Straightening up, Jesus said to her, 'Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?' She said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said, 'I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more, They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, 'for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more, Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water, For if you return to the LORD, your brothers and your sons will find compassion before those who led them captive and will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Lord we Thank You this day that we fear no man. For we know that greater is He that is in us, then he that is in this world, Thank You that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, for You have told us; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, our Father in Heaven. Holy and Blessed Lord Christ Jesus, that as we go forth into this week, we Thank You, that we Your children and are in You loving care. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we love You Precious Christ Jesus our God, who is Lord of our lives, and give You all the glory.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
