Our Prayer For Week-End: Friday October 30, 2009
VERSE:
Psalm 53 (King James Version)
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
COMMENTARY:
This Psalm is almost the same as the 14th. The scope of it is to convince us of our sins. God, by the psalmist, here shows us how bad we are, and proves this by his own certain knowledge. He speaks terror to persecutors, the worst of sinners. He speaks encouragement to God's persecuted people. How comes it that men are so bad? Because there is no fear of God before their eyes. Men's bad practices flow from their bad principles; if they profess to know God, yet in works, as in thoughts, they deny him. See the folly of sin; he is a fool, in the account of God, whose judgment we are sure is right, that harbor such corrupt thoughts. And see the fruit of sin; to what it brings men, when their hearts are hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. See also the faith of the Saints, and their hope and power as to the cure of this great evil. There will come a Savior, a great Salvation, a Salvation from sin. God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, will save His church from its enemies. He will save all believers from their own sins, that they may not be led captive by them, which will be everlasting joy to them. From this work the Redeemer had His name CHRIST JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. All Glory To God!
PRAYER:
Most Holy and Gracious Father and Almighty God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Please receive our words and the desires of our hearts with pleasure. we come before You this day in Prayer and praise, in our hearts and minds we declare tha; we will extol You, my God, O King, and we will Bless Your name forever and ever. Every day we will Bless You, and we will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is un searchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, we will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and we will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness and will shout joyfully of Your righteousness. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Lord God, we love You and want Your will to be done in our life. You have so richly lavished Your grace upon us, please receive back our adoration, and praise. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Precious Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we Thank You that You have allowed us to see another day, that no harm or danger has come near us, that You hedged us and kept us, and will never leave or forsake not one of us Your children. Thank You Lord God, our Father, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Thank You. Holy and righteous God, search our hearts and minds, and if You find anything there that is not of You, Lord please remove it. Thank You Christ Jesus, for accepting our confession of sin as we turn our hearts back to You, and pledge to live for You in all we do and say. For we know that we are forgiven our sins because You told us through Your Holy Word that; Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account, My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world, If we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin, Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. O' Bless That Wonderful name Of Jesus, The Only name by which any man can be Saved. Lord You told us that we must Pray for anyone who have sinned amongst us, when You told us; Encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called 'Today,' so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Thank You Lord, that Your Blessed Holy Spirit that dwells within us, is enabling us to do Your will for one another. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Thank You. Holy Lord God, we Thank You that You for the Blessing You have bestowed on the Pastors, Minister, Lay Persons, Choirs, and Congregations, that will gather in Prayer and praise this Sunday. Thank You that You have Blessed the work of those servants whom You have called to lead Your children into a deeper understanding of Your Word. Thank You Lord God, that not one Prayer, Prayed, Word spoken, note sang in Your behalf, will come back void. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Lord Christ Jesus, You have preserve the Spirit of unity and peace among us, stiring up our hearts and the hearts of our fellow believers to give eager and generous support to the spreading of Your Word, and to uplift one another with love and kindness. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, that You have prospered the work that is being carried out in our missions, at home and abroad. we ask You Father to send laborers into Your harvest in the power of Your most Holy Spirit. Let Your kingdom come, and let Your will be done among us and among all people. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus Thank You. Precious God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, the fruit of the Spirit is joy. As Your children, we have lots of reasons to be joyful. we rejoice because we have a loving Heavenly Father and a gracious Savior. we rejoice because we have forgiveness and all the Spiritual Blessings we need for our souls. we rejoice because we have received from You all the physical Blessings we need to live. Help us have true Christian joy and show it in our speech and in our actions. Thank You Lord, that You have made us, joyful Christians. Thank You that we do not fear any one, for we have Your Blessed assurance that we are to; Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we know that You have placed a hedge of protection around all of our concerns and we have our minds and hearts stayed on You, and You are more then able to care for all we have entrusted into Your mighty hands, so we have no worries, or cares, You know Precious Lord, what all of us Your children stand in need of, and You have told us that You would supply all of our needs. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we are ready to do Your will, for Your Word has told us; Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful, He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!, For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants, God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed, The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways, For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you, No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing, Saying, 'Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
