Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer

Now, Saved, Born Agan, In New Life - Yeah!!! We celebrate, yes? Yes!  And then begin the journey we walk here on this earth.  Paul said it several ways: First:

Passage Galatians 2:20:

   20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Passage Galatians 2:20:
20I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Passage Galatians 2:20:

   20I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that.

This verse is key to our new life, how we got to be in this new life, and how we live this new life in the flesh.  The following also supports and gives deeper insight into our 'New Life IN Christ' like a 'why' and a 'how' or more.  Second:

Passage 2 Corinthians 4:6-10:

   6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

   7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (Emphasis Dr. S.E.W.)

   8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

   9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

   10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Passage 2 Corinthians 4:6-10:
    6For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

    7However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

    8We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair;

    9We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;

    10Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.

Passage 2 Corinthians 4:6-10:

   5 -6Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we're proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, "Light up the darkness!" and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.

   7 -12If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That's to prevent anyone from confusing God's incomparable power with us. As it is, there's not much chance of that. You know for yourselves that we're not much to look at. We've been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we're not demoralized; we're not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we've been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn't left our side; we've been thrown down, but we haven't broken. What they did to Jesus, they do to us—trial and torture, mockery and murder; what Jesus did among them, he does in us—he lives! Our lives are at constant risk for Jesus' sake, which makes Jesus' life all the more evident in us. While we're going through the worst, you're getting in on the best!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New life is a reality and has a purpose - to help us learn and grow to be the children of God we are.
