First lesson was God will keep his promise there is no time limit ,This promise was given to Abraham and his descendants.

The doctrinal purpose or spiritual purpose are to teach both the Israelites and to all generations of believrs.

to show God is faithful in leading his people

To teach that God is Holy and will not tolerate evil and wickedness, not for ever.This is seen in the judgment that fell upon the Canaanites. Their "cup of iniguity" was full;that is ,they were beyound repentance beyound ever turning to the Lord . Consequently, they were comdemned by God to suffer at the hands of the Israelites.



We learned that obedience brings blessing and prosperity while disobedience bring judgment.

We also learned that God is omnipotent (all-power) omniscient (all-knowing) and sovereign,ruling over all.



2nd Sunday we learn that God has EXPECTATIONS of us 1:7-16 He expects us to obey his commandments and Holy Word. He expects us to meditate day and night on his word

He expects us not to stop sharing his word . So as we march through life we must be courageous God will be with us as he was with JOSHUA. (1 K:2:2 )



3TH Sunday God protects Joh 2;3-9 15-16,22-24 We scee God using a Prostitute and use here to protect the man of God ( RAHAB)

First ,Rahab saved the lives of the two spies

Second.,Rahab provided important information to the spies to give to Joshua

Third God use Rahab to be a bearer of the promised seed,to be in the very genealogy of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself

Forth ,God used Rahab to illustrate the necessity of sealing one's salvation,to illustrate saying faith always proves itself by good works (js 2:1-24)

4th SUNDAY THE LESSON IS GOD is victorious. God has already made us victories



This teaches us that we can conquer our Jericho through faith. The city had great thick walls and Guards was on top of the city the city had gates that was locked it was impossible for getting out and in.it seemed impossible to conquer. But through God all things are possible chapter 6 verse 2 God tell joshua I have give you the King, and the mighty men of valous go get it



God gave the militry strategy and it did mack science but joshua beleive God .He beleived that God would work nit out. Our faith should be that strong.



this is the strategy 6 days walk around the city carring the ark of the coveant( word of God) saying nothing with7 Priests blowing the trumpete. then on the seventh day walk arounf seven times silently, then all at once trumpts start blowing, We all give a loud shout and those double walls will come down



There is the only way to conquer the flesh isby believing the word of God

the only to conquor our Jericho's is by believing the word of God
