The Lord used the occasion for me to be a bold witness.

"With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation."    Psalm 91:16
 
 
Recently, I had a visitor who was caught up in the satisfaction of his perceived success.  The Lord used the occasion for me to be a bold witness.  My friend said, "I've got a good income.  I own my house.  I have two cars that are paid for.  My wife wants for nothing and loves me."  He seemed completely satisfied.
 
I said, "My friend, I want to ask you a question.  Will you be absolutely honest with me?  Do you have peace in your heart?"
 
His chin started to quiver.  His eyes brimmed with tears.  He said, "No,  don't have peace in my heart.  How did you know?"
 
I said, "Because the Bible says 'There is no peace, sayeth my God, to the wicked.'  These things cannot fill the longing of your heart.  You need Jesus."
 
You who are reading this need to pray for an opportunity to share today the peace you have in Jesus with someone who is lost and searching.
 
Prayer:
Lord God, I thank You for showing me The Way to peace and everlasting life through Your Word and the Witness of those in right relationship with You.  Embolden my spirit to also witness to others that souls may be added to the Kingdom.  In Jesus' name  pray.  Amen.
