I shall come forth as gold.

"But He knows the way I take; when He has tried me,  I shall come forth as gold."   Job 23:10
 
 
You are walking through life holding gems in your hand.  They're your strengths, gifts, and all that God has placed within you.  The world will try to dismiss them... "Nothing special."  "Not good enough."  "Won't amount to anything."  But hopefully your heart pauses and says, "Wait a minute... let's call in someone who can truly evaluate the worth."  That's when Jesus comes and enters the picture.  He leans over your life and declares "Priceless!"
 
Pretty please with sugar on top dare to accept that what Jesus says about you is genuine... that you are a treasure, of great worth, a peron of infinite value.  No matter what anyone says.  No matter what you have done.  No matter how you feel. "But He knows the way I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold."  It's true.
 
Prayer:
Lord God, I come once again to say "thank You." You are an incredible and awesome power who still smiles favorably on a lowly and flawed creation like me. in my weakness, You are strength, in my sorrow, You are joy. I am in the process of becoming all that You said I could be. Thank You for molding and shaping me in preparation for the journey. In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.
