The Spirit Of Pride

    Galatians 6:3 for if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

lets talk about this thing called pride, the thing we deal with. anytime any of us think more of ourselves then we should it is always pride witch is at work of the flesh. this is also a very dangerous and easy thing for us and minister's to fall into, especially when they are good preacher's and can captivate an audience. the devil will use pride to cause them to think that they are all that and a bag of chips just to set them up to fall. 

whenever we are able to flow in a certain area of our lives , be it ministery or whatever, it becomes natural to feel good about our accomplishments, and that's ok. the pride set in when we think that it is us we forget that it is god that give's us the strength and the wisdom to get were we are and to what we have. the proof of this is when we do not use who we are and what we have for the sake of glorifying god!

pride is alive and well not only in this world, just as alive and well in the body of Christ. pride is what keeps a lot of us from being a burden bearer or even having the desire and the compassion for one another. pride will tell us we are all right and they deserve just what they are getting. while pride may not be the reason why a brother or sister is overtaken in a fault, it can be that keeps us from restoring them.
