Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
John 10:17-18
"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."
My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior,
When Asked… Why We Cry?
As we mourn and contemplate the intense suffering in the life of Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Crucifixion. I pray that we will rededicate our lives and our living to exalting the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. I pray that within these three days we are strengthened and encouraged that joy, everlasting joy comes in the morning”. And if we are asked why we cry, we will say, “We Cry for those unfortunate souls who do not know He Is Not Dead. We cry for those who are lost and wish not to be found. We cry for those who no longer remember and honor Ephesians 5:1-5:5. We are crying for us that live no longer as dear children; walking in love and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savior, forfeiting our inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. We cry for those who rather hurt than heal, doubt than believe”. When the tears stream from our eyes and we are asked why do we cry? We will reply “We cry for those who have forgotten Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you”. We cry for those who would hate rather than love; destroy than create, live in darkness rather than seek His Eternal Light. We cry for those that have no knowledge that His Will be done on earth as is in Heaven; for “Not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. . Let us cry for the Many who will say to the Lord in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then Jesus will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work iniquity.' ". We cry for us who have forgotten the confessions of a thief nailed to a cross beside the Lord who said "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." And a forgiving Jesus saying to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." And surely…We cry for ourselves for what we seek and desire is not an easy task acquired in folly but as is written in Luke 5:36-39
5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. |
5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. |
5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. |
5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better |
We cry for us that know not what we do”. I pray that these will be some of the replies given When Asked …Why We Cry?
…Within These Three Days
“May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”. Colossians 1:11-14 Amen
