Between the last quarter of 2011 and first quarter of 2012, christians in Northern Nigeria suffered severe persecutions from muslims. Many churches were bombed with worshippers inside killing many and injuring many others. Just yesterday, 3/06/2012, a muslim suicide bomber rammed into a church with explosives while service was going on killing many worshippers while several others were injured.
