He who begins a good work

"He who begins a good work in you will carry it on to completion."   Philippians 1:6
 
 
As the year quickly comes to its close, we are even more aware we have not done some of the things we purposed in our hearts to do.  The consolation in that is, He who has begun the dream yet lives inside of us.  The promise that He would not leave us nor forsake us yet lives.  The following statements of truth are facts we can live with now and forever. 
 

• You're enough because The Word promises you all you need.  (2 Cor. 12:9 )
• You belong because God has chosen you.  (1 Peter 2:9)
• You're beautiful because God made you.  ( Psalm 139:14)
• You've got a purpose because God is directing your life.  (Psalm 138:8)
• You're secure because He's got you and He will never let you go.  (John 10:28)

 
Whatever you go through now and in time to come, that will always be true.
 
Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for Your goodness and Your mercy.  Even when I cannot see my way, I have the assurance of Your Word that You are the way.  And you will not abandon me, but see me through until the end.  I believe and pray through Jesus Christ.  Amen.
