Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war. Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. COMMENTARY:
None ever hardened his heart against God, and prospered. God is the joy of His people, then let them rejoice when they come before Him. He who derives His being from none, but gives being to all, is engaged by promise and covenant to Bless His people. He is to be praised as a God of mercy and tender compassion. He ever careth for the afflicted and oppressed: repenting sinners, who are helpless and exposed more than any fatherless children, are admitted into his family, and share all. Fresh mercies should put us in mind of former mercies. If God bring His people into a wilderness, He will be sure to go before them in it, and to bring them out of it. He provided for them, both in the wilderness and in Canaan. The daily manna seems here meant. And it looks to the spiritual provision for God's Israel. The Spirit of Grace and the Gospel of grace are the plentiful rain, with which God confirms His inheritance, and from which their fruit is found. Christ shall come as showers that water the earth. The account of Israel's victories is to be applied to the victories over death and hell, by the exalted Redeemer, for those that are his. Israel in Egypt among the kilns appeared wretched, but possessed of Canaan, during the reigns of David and Solomon, appeared glorious. Thus the slaves of satan, when converted to Christ, when justified and sanctified by Him, look honourable. When they reach heaven, all remains of their sinful state disappear, they shall be as the wings of the dove, covered with silver, and her feathers as gold. Full Salvation will render those white as snow, who were vile and loathsome through the guilt and defilement of sin.
PRAYER:
O' most Holy and Gracious Father, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we come before You this afternoon, in Prayer and praise, to Thank You Precious Lord, for keeping us, loving us, and if any of us have sinned, then forgiving us of our sins. For You told us that; You demonstrates You own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, You died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by Your blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through You. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of You, His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by You. O' Bless That Wonderful name of Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord. Father we venerate and glorify you, O most Blessed Trinity, In union with that ineffable glory with which Your our Lord God the Father, in Your ominpotence, honours the Holy Spirit forever. we magnify and Bless You, O most Blessed Lord, in union with that most reverent glory with which You, in Your unsearchable wisdom, Glorifies the Holy Spirit forever. we adore and extol You, O most Blessed Lord Christ Jesus, our God, in union with that most adequate and befitting glory with which the Holy Spirit in His unchangeable goodness, extols the Father and the Son forever. we will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth, SHOUT joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing, Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture, Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Thank You that, as we come to the end of another work week, that not one of Your children have been lost. we Thank You that as Your servants prepare for Services this Sunday, that You have already sent the Holy Spirit ahead of every man, woman or child that will Pray, preach, teach, or sing, In Churches all around the world, and that not one Prayer offered unto You, Word spoken, note sang, will come back void. we Pray that souls will be saved, hearts changed, and that sight and hearing be given to those that are Spiritually blind, and those that can not hear. Thank You Precious Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Lord Father God, we Thank You for keeping the children of the world, the sick, the elderly, Your men and women that fight and are in harms way safe, Holy Father God, please touch them with Your loving Spirit, and let them know that You are there and will never leave or forsake them, and that they only have to reach out to You and You will comfort them in their time of need. Thank You Lord and Savior that You have already, as we Pray sent someone to tell them this, and that they know that by Your stripes they are healed, and that they are under You protection. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. For You have told that; Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass, For this is like the days of Noah to Me, when I swore that the waters of Noah would not flood the earth again; so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you nor will I rebuke you. For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My loving kindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken," says the LORD who has compassion on you, When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth, Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you, But because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we fear no man, for we know that, greater is He that is in us, then he that is in this world, that a wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increases power, that You give strength to the weary, and we are not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for Salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, Lord You promised us that; No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD, The LORD is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong, For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Precious Lord we will do Your Holy will, and we Pray that the Words of our mouths, and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable unto You. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, who is Lord of our lives.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
