O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me. My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off. They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long. But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth. Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs. COMMENTARY:
Nothing will disquiet the heart of a good man so much as the sense of God's anger. The way to keep the heart quiet, is to keep ourselves in the love of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, God. But a sense of guilt is too heavy to bear; and would sink men into despair and ruin, unless removed by the pardoning Mercy of Christ Jesus. If there were not sin in our souls, there would be no pain in our bones, no illness in our bodies. The guilt of sin is a burden to the whole creation, which groans under it. It will be a burden to the sinners themselves, when they are heavy-laden under it, or a burden of ruin, when it sinks them to hell. When we perceive our true condition, the Good Physician, Christ Jesus will be valued, sought, and obeyed. Yet many let their wounds rankle, because they delay to go to their Merciful Friend, Our Lord. When, at any time, we are distempered in our bodies, we ought to remember how Christ our God has been dishonored in and by our bodies. The groaning's which cannot be uttered, are not hid from Him that searches the heart, and knows the mind of the Spirit. David, in his troubles, was a type of Christ in his agonies, of Christ on his cross, suffering and deserted. Wicked men hate goodness, even when they benefit by it. David, in the complaints he makes of his enemies, seems to refer to Christ. But our enemies do us real mischief only when they drive us from God and our duty. The true believer's trouble will be made useful; he will learn to wait for his God, and will not seek relief from the world or himself. The less we notice the unkindness and injuries that are done us, the more we consult the quiet of our own minds. David's troubles were the chastisement and the consequence of his transgressions, while Christ suffered for our sins and ours only. What right can a sinner have to yield to impatience or anger, when mercifully corrected for his sins? David was very sensible of the present workings of corruption in him. Good men, by setting their sorrow continually before them, have been ready to fall; but by setting God always before them, they have kept their standing. If we are truly penitent for sin, that will make us patient under affliction. Nothing goes nearer to the heart of a believer when in affliction, than to be under the apprehension of God's deserting him; nor does any thing come more feelingly from his heart than this prayer, to Be not far from me. The Lord will hasten to help those who trust in Him as their Salvation.

Most Precious and Holy God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. we come into Your presence this day, with praise and Thanksgiving for all that You have done for us Your children. Thank You Lord. O Holy Trinity--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we worship you as the one true God. The heavens declare Your glory and the earth shows Your handiwork, O Creator and Preserver of all mankind. Let us always remember Your majestic power and wisdom. We live by Your Grace, and were saved by nothing but Faith in Your finished work on the cross, not by any works, least any man can boast. Thank You Lord, that "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Father, help us show our appreciation by thinking, saying, and doing things that reflect Your greatness. we love You Lord and we are grateful that You have seen that no harm or hurt has come near our doors, Thank You Beloved Savior, that Your hedge of protection has kept us from those that mean us harm, and that all of their plans have been defeated. Thank You Lord, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and that every voice that speaks out against us Your children will be bought to great shame. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Most Holy Lord and Savior, keep us abiding in You, make Your Word to live in us. we ask Lord that you would Bless all of us Your children, for You know what each stands in need of. Lord Thank You that Your eyes are not only on us here in this country, but the whole world, and You are concerned for all mankind because we are all Your children. Lord God, Thank You that You have warned us that these natural disasters, such as what is happening in India, and other parts of the world, would come and get more frequent as the end of the world draws near. Beloved Lord, Christ Jesus in this time before Your return, equip us to use our gifts and Blessings to the very best of our ability. Help us to be generous in the aid of those that are in need. Precious Lord, Thank You that You have enlarge our territory, that Your hand will be with us, and that You will keep us from evil, that we may be free to do Your will. Lord, fill us now and always with the Holy Spirit. we open our hearts to yield to the Holy Spirit. Lord, make us consider ourselves really dead to sin. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You Father that through faith we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Thank You Christ Jesus, that my body is the temple of the Blessed Holy Spirit, who is in us, whom we have from God. Make us always conscious of this fact. Thank You Father that we are ambassadors for Christ. Make us a good ambassador for Your Kingdom. Dear Holy Spirit, Thank You, that You have taught us how to overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of our testimony.Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Father, through Christ Jesus cause us to continually offer to You the sacrifice of praise. Dear Holy Spirit, cause us to Bless the Lord at all times. we want His praise to be continually in our mouths. Dear Holy Spirit, teach us to speak gracious words like a wise man. Dear Father, make us to be swift to hear; slow to speak, and slow to wrath. Thank You Lord, and Savior, Thank You. Dear Lord, help us to let no corrupt word proceed out of our mouths. we want to speak only words that build up according to the need of the moment. we pray that these words will impart Grace to those who hear. Thank You Lord God, that You have made it so that the Word of God doesn't depart from our mouths. Get us to the place where we meditate in the Word day and night, so that we may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Thank You Lord and Savior that it is Your desire that we are prosperous according to Your Word and that You will give us good success. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Lord, as You have taught us: he who speaks from himself seeks his own glory. we Pray that we will not speak from ourselves. Lord, give us grace to say to the works of the devil "Be Removed!" without doubting in our hearts. When we say things let us believe that what we say will happen. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You Jesus that You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and with Your stripes we are healed. Lord we Pray that whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, we do all to the glory of God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord that we know that it is You God who arm us with strength, and make our way perfect. Thank You Lord, that You have anoint us to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free, we Thank You Lord Jesus, that you have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Lord, help us to discipline our bodies and minds, and bring them into subjection. we don't want to be disqualified for any thing in Your plan for us. Holy God, our Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You that as we go into the Churches this Sunday to Pray and Preach the Gospel, that not one Word will come back void. and that we have no need to fear any man. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. For we know that You will never leave or forsake us, and that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. O Bless That Wonderful Name Of Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord Thank You. Lord You promise that we shall ask what we desire, and it shall be done for us, and that if we give ourself to the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then our light will rise in darkness and our gloom will become like midday. And the You our LORD will continually guide us, and satisfy our desire in scorched places, and give strength to our bones; and we will be like a watered gardens, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we ask that You have Your perfect will for us in our lives, and that we bare much fruit for Your Kingdom. Send us Lord, we will go. All to Your Glory.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's bodies and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives.
