Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Today Wednesday, July 1, 2009
Today's Verse, - Psalm 127:1,
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. - Psalm 127:1
THOUGHT:
"It's all up to you!" That's the prevailing mindset for high
achievers in our world. But it is wrong. Our efforts to build and
be a part of something great are ultimately in vain if the Lord
doesn't Bless them. They may flourish for a time under our intense
efforts, but if the plans and the construction of great things are
not from the Lord, they will not stand the test of time.
PRAYER:
Almighty God and Eternal Father, Thank You for Your gift of the Holy Spirit, Thank You, that You have never forgot or forsaken us, and that You have forgiven us of all our sins. Thank You, that we know, You can do far more to advance our work for Your kingdom than all our worry and fretfulness could ever do.
Please take the lead in every aspect of our life; please empower those efforts which will bring you glory and others closer to Your grace. Lord Christ Jesus, You have taught us, that we are to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus, Praise to You, oh God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus maker of all things. You gave us life and breath.
You sent Your Son to cleanse us from sin and Your Holy Spirit to make us glad. Thank You for providing us with a heart to serve You. Thank You Lord. Thank You. Lord You know all that we Your children stand in need of, and we trust and believe that, You have already done and provided for all of our needs. All Glory To God, Thank You. To You, Precious Lord Christ Jesus, be honor and glory now and forever.
