Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Tuesday November 24, 2009
VERSE:
Psalm 70 (King James Version)
MAKE HASTE, O GOD, TO DELIVER ME; MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME, O LORD. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
COMMENTARY:
Here we find psalmist, Praying to God for the speedy destruction of the wicked, and the preservation of the godly. This psalm is almost the same as the last five verses of Psalm 40. While here we behold the psalmist set forth in poverty and distress, we also see him desiring just and fearful punishment on his heathen, and antichrist enemies; and pleading for the joy and happiness of his friends, to his Father's honor. Let us apply these things to our own troubled circumstances, and in a believing manner bring them, and the sinful causes thereof, to our remembrance. Urgent trials should always awake fervent Prayers, for our Lord has told us; Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? All Glory to God, that we can rest in our Lord's Blessed assurance that He will fight our battles, and none of us that are obedient, and love Him, shall be put to shame. For we suffer all things to the Glory of God!
PRAYER:
Most Precious and Loving Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, our Father God. we come into Your Holy presence in Prayer and praise this afternoon, Thank You Lord for having kept us until this hour of this day, and knowing that Your will for us is being fulfilled as we Pray unto You. Thank You Lord that as we slept You allowed no harm or danger to come unto us, or our doors. Thank You Lord that You sent You angels to keep watch over us. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Father we have so much to be grateful to You for, no words, nothing can express how much we love You. You have been better to us, then we have been to ourselves, and we just want to Thank You for Your unwarranted love and care that You have shown us, Your children, even those that don't yet know to call on You as Savior. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Blessed Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we know that we have done something that is displeasing to You, we may have forgotten, or were not aware that we were thinking or doing it, but just to be sure, we confess that if any of us have sinned, we are Godly sorry, and ask that You forgive us, and we can be assured that if we confess our sins, that You will be faithful to forgive, for You have told us; "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world." O' Bless That Wonderful Name Of Christ Jesus, The Only Name By Which Any Man Can Be Saved. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, and the waters that are above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He commanded and they were created, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name, Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing, Saying, 'Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen. Thank You Most Holy and Blessed Savior, Our God, Lord Christ Jesus. Thank You. Father God, we ask You to please Bless the sick, the children, marriages that need to be mended, our men and women in harms way fighting wars, the man and woman seeking employment, those who are looking for a way to deal with their financial situations. we Thank You for we know that You will never leave or forsake any of us, and that if we Pray, get up and do what needs to be done, in Your name that You have already open up doors, touched hearts, and that Your will shall be done in our lives. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You Father God. Most Holy and Precious Lord, we have no fear of any man or any situation the the devil sets up for us, we know; O Death, where is your victory? O Death, where is your sting? The wicked is thrust down by his wrongdoing, but the righteous has a refuge when he dies, The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ For we know Him who said; VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY.' And again, 'THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE, The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him, Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no longer, The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways, For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you, No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD, His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries, Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? Greater is He that is in us, then he that is in this world. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Father God, we love You and want always to please You, we know that we sometimes fail, but Thanks be unto You our God, who has given us the victory. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. we Thank You Lord that You have taught us; But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does, Whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight, For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified, Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life, For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother, The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever, Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter, How blessed are those who keep justice, who practice righteousness at all times, Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You our Father who art in Heaven. we ask You to take us all into Your loving hands this day and have Your perfect will for us. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You our God.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
