The battle is the Lord's

On a scale from 1-10 where would you judge your life’s difficulty? Is it everything as you excepted it to be? Life by far is not easy; challenges are thrown to us on a daily basis. Many times it seems that when one problem seems fixed two more will pop up. Many people are led to believe that when you become a Christian your life becomes easier. That all of a sudden problems will simply go away. That is the furthest from the truth. In fact if we are sincerely seeking God and striving to live a holy life, the Word of God says we will suffer at times. If you look at things in the spiritual realm, we see a battle going on. If we are true Christian’s that have declared war on the enemy, then we must also know that we become a threat, and thus a target for Satan’s attacks. Meaning, if you step on the battleground expect that there will be a fight. But the battleground is not always around us. In fact many of the times it is simply within us. We can truly be our worst enemy at times, and the mind can be the Devils playground if we do not keep the doors closed to him. I remember the words of another minister when he said that there was a true way to win every battle Satan could throw at you. He said to win every battle, simply don’t get in the ring. Until the time that God has prepared us, we need to simply stand on the scripture of 1 Samuel 17:47 and all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s and he will give you into our hands. Yes as Christians we have authority over the forces of evil. But we should not become arrogant in our walk neither. Even Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said 'The Lord rebuke you.'". As believing Christians we know there is a true battle going on in our world. And like every soldier we know there is a chance of attack and chance for us getting hurt. Being a true Christian is hard. Even Jesus said in John 15; 20 remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. To serve Jesus is the most wonderful experience a person can do, but it is a choice we must make. The Word of God clearly states that to be a true man or women of God you will be put thru the fire. As Christian we go thru this fire with praise and thanksgiving for we know the hand of God is on us. We know that the battle is real, and we willingly and knowingly step forward in complete submission to the will of God in our lives. We know that the experiences we face are what will mold us into what God has for us. We use those experiences for the glory of his kingdom. For what the Devil meant as Evil, God will use for good. So when the enemy throws attacks your way, rejoice in the fact that you are thought of as his enemy, and that the hand of God is in your life, for you are a soldier in the Army of the Lord
