) I put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; and I put on love, the bond of perfection.
2) I welcome the peace of God to rule my heart.
3) I allow the Word of God to dwell in my heart richly in all wisdom,
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in my heart to the Lord.
4) Whatever I do, I do in word and in deed in the name of Jesus, giving
thanks to God the Father through Him.
5) I…

Throughout the Old Testament, we see many situations in which God tests His people in order to determine if they will follow Him or follow the systems of this world.
The nation of Israel was tested many times during the 40-year sojourn in the wilderness: "Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands" (Deut. 8:2).
You might ask, "Why…

O' how tiresome that I am.
My soul cries within me. O' how I pray for Your mercies upon I, my people & or fathers before us that sinned & O' YHWH, had made with them. O' how I pray and make intercession for those that know You not, for them who have turned their backs on You.
They have forgotten You, YHWH. I pray for these and also pray that You overlook my own transgressions; for nothing is hidden from Your sight. Yes,…

To love is to live
A breath of life filled with joy
My heart skips a beat at the sound of your name
let me lose my self in your world
smile at me so my pain can flee
you are the first to know me
gave up a life of burdened souls
I give myself away to you oh king of my heart
forever and always your arms will be my home
In your presence i can capture the essence of beauty
now that I have found you ,I can`t see me with out you
your words play a…

VERSE:
He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
THOUGHT:
Sometimes what we need to do is very simple and plain, isn't it?
I need to handle those around me justly -- practicing patience and
dealing with others in fairness, without partiality. I need to
practice mercy -- blessing others in… Continue

VERSE:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
THOUGHT:
Confessing our sins means that we view our sin the same way that God does -- the same revulsion and disdain for them. This kind of confession opens our hearts to the flood of heaven's grace (see Psalm 51). God shares with us the sweet liberation from sin… Continue

My oldest daughter recently brought me an armload of books to read. She said, "Mom, read this one first."
That book was
The Shack, by Wm. Paul Young.
After reading it, I may never look at God, at Jesus, at the Holy Spirit, in quite the same way I had always perceived them. Also, I may never look at life, people, or myself in the same way, either.
In spite of its unassuming title and small size as novels…

Is the United States of America a Christian nation? This subject is now on the mouths of our top leaders throughout the country. It has been said already by our top officials, that we indeed are not. Was the USA founded on the principals of God, or it is not? If you were asked today, how would you respond? There are those that would say we have those of the “enlightment” and those of the “faith’ within our great country, seeking each of their views of prosperity. Some simply saying the “church”…

When Joshua and the Israelites entered the Promised Land, they fought many battles. In fact, they fought 39 battles in the Promised Land compared to only two in their exodus from Egypt. God instructed them to wipe out all their enemies completely. The more battles they won, the more their reputation preceded them as they entered new territories. Such was the case when Joshua and the people came into the land where the Gibeonites lived. The Gibeonites knew they were as good as dead if they…

LAZARUS AND THE RICH MAN-The Real Message=ALL TO BE SAVED
The rich man identified
There is only one man who Scripturally fits all the descriptions
of the "rich man" in this parable
Only one person who "personifies" all of the symbols and
identifying clues given of this rich man
And that man is:
"JUDAH !"
But not just Judah as an historical individual,
but collectively All Israel under the headship of Judah, the Jews
And…

Many people who find themselves stuck in difficult situations often feel as if they've become lost. Somehow, they've arrived in a wilderness where everything has dried up and nothing seems to be growing. Many of them have lived in this wilderness for so long that they have given up on things changing and concluded that this must be all God has in store for them.
On numerous occasions, they have attempted to change their situation, but all of their efforts have failed. If this sounds like…
